A wide variety of experience

Pink Sparky was created in 2016 when owner Amy FitzPatrick saw a need for people to feel completely at ease when dealing with tradies; someone they could rely on and trust to deliver a quality job without breaking the bank.

Amy completed her electrical apprenticeship in Cambridge where she gained a lot of residential experience. Once qualified, Amy spent four years as a maintenance electrician at the Waikato Hospital and gained a wide variety of commercial and industrial experience and knowledge. Then after completing months of commercial wiring, and even a stint at the meat works, Amy worked for for an industrial electrical automation company, working on process measurement and control projects. Amy was bothered by the industry's reputation for unreliable and untrustworthy tradespeople, so she set upon starting a company to turn that around and look out for people - that's when Pink Sparky was born.
